What FieldHarbor is

FieldHarbor is a tool used by small trade businesses (plowing, landscaping, roofing, and similar services) to track leads, jobs, and invoices, and to automatically text a customer back when a call to the business is missed.

Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information:

  • Business account information — name, email, phone number, and business details for the trade business using FieldHarbor.
  • Customer/lead information — a name, phone number, and any notes or messages a business's customer provides when they call or text a FieldHarbor-connected number.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program Terms

How you opt in: When you call a FieldHarbor business's phone number and the call isn't answered, that business's FieldHarbor number will automatically send you a one-time text confirming your call was received. Calling the business is the action that opts you in to this message — no separate signup is required.

What you'll receive: Transactional messages related to your specific inquiry with that business — for example, confirming a missed call, sending a price quote, or scheduling a job. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the business and is not a recurring subscription. FieldHarbor does not send marketing or promotional messages.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving texts from that business. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at trytradeflow@gmail.com.

Phone numbers and message content are never provided to outside companies for marketing purposes, and we never profit from handing them out.

How we use information

We use the information described above to operate FieldHarbor: to send the automated missed-call text-back, to display leads, jobs, and invoices to the business that collected them, and to provide customer support to businesses using FieldHarbor. We do not use customer/lead information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.

Cookies and tracking

FieldHarbor uses a session cookie to keep a business owner logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on the customer-facing pages (including this page and the public invoice pages we send customers).

Outside services we use

The only outside companies that ever see this information are the ones required to run FieldHarbor — Twilio (to send and receive text messages and calls) and, if a business chooses to connect it, QuickBooks Online (to sync invoices). We never hand phone numbers or message content to data brokers or advertisers, and we never monetize personal information.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect the information stored in FieldHarbor. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect information appropriate to its sensitivity.

Data retention

We retain lead, job, and message data for as long as a business's FieldHarbor account is active, so they can keep a record of their customer interactions. A business can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time.

Your choices

Customers can opt out of receiving texts from a business at any time by replying STOP. Business owners can request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of, their account's data by contacting us.

Children's privacy

FieldHarbor is intended for use by business owners and their adult customers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as FieldHarbor changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
